More info on Coppafeel.org
PRIDE of Britian Award winner Kristin Hallenga visted Great Central Vauxhall's 'Wear it Pink' cancer charity fundraiser. The garage's staff wore pink and made donations to raise funds for cancer charities last week.
Kristin, a self proclaimed 'Cancer warrior', visited to give her thanks and support. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in February with tumours also discovered in her spine. Kristin won her award for founding the Coppafeel! campaign, which aims to raise awareness of checking for the early warning signs of breast cancer. Kristin, 23 from Daventry, is a family friend of staff at Great Central and was very grateful for local support.
